Are you a seasoned SQL expert with a passion for system integration and performance optimization? We’re looking for a SQL Server & Integration Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract, working fully remote from anywhere in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Strategy: Take ownership of our SQL instances, leading the design and development of robust, scalable solutions.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Be the go-to expert for our data warehouse and integrations, ensuring top-notch performance and reliability.
• Collaboration: Partner with Service Delivery and Business Systems teams to drive enhancements and standardisation.
• Technical Support: Provide in-depth support, troubleshooting, and guidance to maintain system stability and efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and deliver on opportunities to streamline processes and boost performance.

Key Skills & Experience

• 10+ years’ experience managing MS SQL Server and building integrated solutions
• Strong background in REST and SOAP API integrations
• Highly skilled in T-SQL and JavaScript
• Proficient with Studio Manager and Visual Studio
• Solid experience in SQL Integration Services (SSIS)
• Advanced knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure File Storage
• Demonstrated ability in performance tuning and SQL troubleshooting

Location: UK-based, fully remote
