Repairs Surveyor

• Hourly Rate: £27.42 (Umbrella)

• Job Type: Temporary (3-month rolling contract)

We are seeking a Repairs and Maintenance Surveyor to join our team on a temporary basis. This role involves carrying out surveys for day-to-day repairs on council properties in Barnsley. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in surveying council or social housing properties.

• Conduct detailed surveys on council properties to assess the need for repairs.
• Prepare and present survey reports highlighting the required repairs and maintenance work.
• Work closely with the repairs team to ensure timely and efficient repair work.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations and safety standards.
• Address any tenant concerns related to the maintenance and repair work.

• Proven experience in carrying out surveys on council or social housing properties.
• Qualification in building, surveying, or a related field, or time-served experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
