Hays are working with the Northern Ireland Assembly to recruit for a Research Officer - European Affairs.
Your new role
You will work directly with Assembly Members and Committees in the production of non-partisan, objective and evidence-based research.
Main duties and responsibilities of the Research Officer are:
What you'll need to succeed
Applicants must, by the closing date:1.Be in possession of at least a second-class honours degree (or equivalent or post-graduate qualification), in which EU decision making was a key component of the degree;
2.Following completion of the above, have at least two years of work experience of: a) Conducting objective, evidence-based research requiring an understanding of EU decision making.b) Producing and delivering evidence-based findings to help inform discussion and decision making relating to policy development.
3.Applicants must also demonstrate an applied knowledge of:a) The Windsor Framework.b) EU information sources, including official EU databases.
