Description

This role is essential in ensuring effective resident engagement, supporting tenant empowerment, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. The Resident Involvement Officer plays a key role in:

* Facilitating resident consultation meetings and engagement events.
* Supporting scrutiny panels and ensuring residents have a voice in service improvement.
* Managing resident communication, including newsletters, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
* Ensuring compliance with Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) and regulatory engagement requirements.
* Coordinating mystery shopping exercises, roadshows, and resident panels to improve service delivery.

Essential knowledge:

• An understanding of the local government framework

• An understanding of the principles and good practice in relation to customer engagement, consultation, feedback and involvement

• An understanding of how digital engagement can play an important role in resident involvement, engagement and consultation activities
