Residential Conveyancing Locum

Residential Conveyancing Locum – Bristol, Ongoing Contract, £Competitive (DOE), Hybrid Working!

We are currently working with a high street firm in Bristol who are looking for a Conveyancing Locum to help assist the department whilst they recruit permanently.

Experience and Key Skills

• A Solicitor, Filex or Licensed Conveyancer with least 2-5 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing.
• Experience in managing their own caseload involving sales and purchases (registered and unregistered, freehold and leasehold land), re-mortgages, transfers of equity, equity release and right to buy.
• Ability to enhance and build key relationships in the conveyancing chain.

Key responsibilities

• To manage their own caseload from start to finish, including participation in dealing with new enquiries to post-completion formalities. Support from a conveyancing assistant will be provided.
• To provide a high-quality conveyancing service in line with the Conveyancing Quality Scheme.
• To work as part of our team of conveyancers and provide support and supervision for junior members of the team where needed.
