Residential Practice Development lead - £52ph - Island Authority

Experienced social work practitioner looking to get away from frontline work? This one's for you! NonStop Care have an exciting opportunity for an experienced social worker, ideally manager, to join a well established channel islands authority who are looking for a Residential Practice Lead to join their service in a locum capacity!

Role Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead care practices in children's homes, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission to provide high-quality trauma-informed care.
  • Conduct quality assurance activities with a focus on improvement initiatives, fostering a collaborative and nurturing environment.
  • Design and deliver workshops and mentorship programs, contributing to the organization's reputation as a leader in child-centered care.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field, along with required registrations at Social Work England and Jersey Care Commission.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Statutory Social Work, with expertise in working with children, young people, and families under protection plans.
  • Proficient in relational and trauma-informed approaches to care, with the ability to design impactful educational content for staff.
