Job Description - Residential Property Lawyer

Service Care Solutions is working alongside a dynamic local authority, based in Bristol, which is seeking a Residential Property Lawyer to join their team as part of the council’s efforts to tackle homelessness in the community.

Role: Residential Property Lawyer
Location: Bristol
Umbrella Rate: £300 per day
PAYE Inc. Rate: £265.21 per day
Contract Length: 12 months

Key Responsibilities of the Residential Property Lawyer role:
  • Handle a Residential Property law caseload independently.
  • Oversee and manage the residential acquisition programme on behalf of the Council
  • Acquisitions will be freehold and leasehold and the postholder will be expected to deal with the full conveyancing process from initial contract to registration at the Land Registry.
Required Skills:
  • Qualification to practice as a Solicitor, Barrister or FCILEx with strong legal knowledge and experience in conveyancing, property law, and residential acquisitions.
  • Proven experience in dealing with the full conveyancing process, from initial contract to registration at the Land Registry.
  • Familiarity with local government procedures and systems is advantageous.
