PMO Manager - Resource Management

£600 to £650 Per Day - Inside IR35 via Umbrella

Duration: Min 6 months

Location: Warwickshire - 1 day per week onsite, rest remote working

Our leading financial services client in the West Midlands is seeking a highly accomplished PMO/Resource Manager with strong Resource Management/Planning/Data experience, to work on an exciting datacentre migration program of work.

Deliverables -

• Establish an effective resource management process and cadence, aligned to Enterprise standards and processes, to ensure that resources are effectively secured, and key IT and business stakeholders are engaged appropriately.
• Establish a stakeholder management plan to supplement existing resourcing meetings, to ensure datacentre resource requirements are communicated and understood, and enabling issues and challenges to be quickly identified and dealt with.
• Provide resourcing updates to key governance forums including the Programme Steering Group and Focused Support & Assurance meeting. Analyse and interpret data on programme and project resources, providing insight to the Programme leadership team. Collate, prepare, distribute, and present reports, summaries and communications that are clear, relevant, and accurate so they meet programme/ project requirements, and ensuring resourcing risks and issues are highlighted.
• Orchestrate the execution of the resource management process within the Datacentre PMO team to ensure work is managed and key deadlines can be met with sufficient time built in for quality review.
• Contribute to the wider activities of the Datacentre PMO team and programme, including contribution to ongoing process improvement activities.

Experience required:

• Proven Senior PMO / Resource Management experience
• Experience with large scale IT programmes
• Strong and recent experience improving resource management processes and data
• Strong demand and capacity management experience
• Experience strategically aligning available resources and skills with the needs of projects and programs
• Resource management and resource analysis experience in large programmes
• Planning and tracking experience in large programmes, alongside strong experience providing reports on resource utilization, forecasting, and other key metrics
• Policy enforcement experience in large programme, ensuring enforcement of company policies and procedures related to resource management
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Financial services experience or consultancy experience - desirable
• Datacentre project experience - desirable
