Restaurant Waiter / Waitress

Dakota Hotel based in Manchester City Centre are seeking 

an outgoing individual with waiting experience for the role of Restaurant Waiter / Waitress to deliver exceptional service to our guests. Working 

predominantly evening

 shifts, this role is ideal for individuals who may have day-time commitments. 

CONTRACT AND PAY RATE

Earnings are £12.75 per hour, paid weekly equating to a minimum guaranteed gross annual salary of £23,205 (inclusive of the anticipated tronc payment).

PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Carry out the role of a section waiter/

  waitress

  , providing table service, taking guest 

  orders

   and running large trays of delicious food to guest tables. 

•  Provide the highest levels of guest service, offering personalised dish and beverage recommendations, and delivering a memorable dining experience. 

•  Work closely with the Bar and Kitchen team to ensure the effective flow of communication. 

• To have a comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage menu options to enhance the guest experience.

Our location, 29 Ducie St, Manchester M1 2JL, is centrally located in the Piccadilly Basin, close to Piccadilly Station ideally located for public transport users.

We are home to 137 luxury bedrooms, including 27 suites - the most in the city, a destination cocktail bar with champagne room, and a brasserie style grill with private dining rooms as well as a spectacular terrace.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

The successful applicant will have/be: 

•   At least 1 year working experience, ideally in a hospitality environment. 

• Willing and able to pour, serve and sell alcohol.  

• Ability to work at pace and be physically active for the duration of your shift. 

•  Be an outgoing personality with effective communication skills.  

• Be able to be physically active in your role, standing for much of your shift and working at pace.  

• An enthusiastic individual who will promote our culture of positivity.  

• Be task oriented with a
