Revenue Accountant - temporary - 4 months

Start date: ASAP (to start by mid July ideally)

£250 - £260pd + holiday pay

Are you available at short notice, to commence this 4 month Revenue Accountant role for one of our key Wokingham clients? USGAAP experience essential for this Revenue Accounting role. Applicants maybe Qualified by Experience, Part Qualified, or Qualified - what's most important is your recent Revenue Accounting experience.

Our marlet leading US client, who are well established and lead the way in their sector, are needing an experienced Revenue Accountant, to support their European Finance Manager with this varied, challenging Revenue Accountant role.

As the Revenue Accountant, your role will certainly be varied and will include:

- Revenue Accounting for the UK and European regions

- Review Revenue Accounting entries to ensure they are completed accurately and on time

- Processing journals

- Responsible for Balance Sheet Recs

- Manage and analse the organisation's revenue streams, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and preparing accurate financial reports for the Finance Manager

- Ensuring revenue is recognised at the appropriate time and in accordance with accounting standards

- Preparing and reviewing revenue reports, including balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements

- Work with sales, project management, and other teams to ensure accurate revenue accounting and reporting

Skills required for the successful Revenue Accountant

Skills:

• Financial Analysis:Strong analytical skills to analyse revenue streams and identify trends
• Accounting Standards:In-depth knowledge of relevant accounting standards - USGAAP essential

• Communication:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams

• Attention to Detail:Ability to accurately record and report financial information.

• Problem-Solving:Ability to identify and resolve issues related to revenue recognition and reporting

Ideally you will have recent experience of working on SAP or Oracle (or a similar system) and intermediate Excel.
