Client Details

My client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to join their finance team on a 6-month temporary contract. This role will focus on accurately managing revenue recognition, reconciliations, and financial reporting to support our dynamic business operations.

Description

* Responsibility for processing contracts for one or more product lines and ensuring that fees are invoiced in a timely manner
* Liaising between the Accounts and BRM (Business Relationship Management) groups to ensure customer arrangements and fees are recorded and invoiced accurately and in timely manner
* Month end revenue posting and dealing with revenue related queries from within the finance department
* Creating and running reports from a variety of sources including SAP, EPM10, AO
* Investigating revenue variances and submitting reports to finance managers for sign-off
* Reviewing and approving reports as part of SOX controls
* Other ad-hoc tasks as required

Profile

• Proven experience working in a revenue/billings team or experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable (2+years)

• Strong expertise in using SAP for accounting and financial reporting - this is a critical requirement

• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, global team environment

• Strong communication and organisational skills
