Design Consultancy | 15 month maternity cover | Central London | 60k - 65k

We're working with a renowned, global design consultancy to hire a Revenue / Finance Manager to join their dynamic finance team on a 15 month maternity leave cover.

You'll be a key member of the finance team and play a pivotal role in ensuring robust financial controls, accurate revenue recognition/ and timely reporting within a fast-paced, creative environment.

Partnering closely with department heads and the Finance Controller, you’ll ensure billing is accurate, contracts are adhered to, and revenue and costs are recognised correctly. This is a hands-on role that also requires the ability to step back and provide strategic insight to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Monthly revenue and cost recognition in line with contracts
• Reconciling revenue, costs, and forecasts; preparing journal entries
• Ensuring timely client payments
• Cash inflow forecasting for both weekly and monthly planning
• Managing billing requirements across global client bases
• Producing insightful reports on forecasts, pipelines, and variances
• Supporting audit processes and parent reporting requirements
• Driving process efficiencies in revenue accounting and invoicing
• Supporting CFO and FD with ad hoc projects

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience
• Strong background in revenue recognition, invoicing, and credit control
• Comfortable working with international clients and multi-currency transactions
• Detail-oriented with the ability to provide big-picture insights
• Excellent communicator with a proactive, problem-solving approach
