Reviews Team Leader

My client is seeking an experienced Reviews Team Leader with strong knowledge of Part 6 and 7 of the Housing Act 1996.

Key Skills and Experience:

• A specialist knowledge of the law relating to homelessness as covered by the 1996 Housing Act and the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 with a good, supporting knowledge of Children's Act, the Care Act, and the Welfare Reform Act.
• An excellent ability to lead a team, making sure that reviews are submitted on time, providing casework supervision on complex cases, and addressing any performance issues within the team.
• Previous experience completing high quality, timely reviews of homelessness decisions under section 202 of the Housing Act 1996.
• Previous involvement with cases that go to section 204 appeal in the County Court and to further appeal in the higher court.
• Experience with recording and reporting high quality data on all types of reviews.
• A proactive and customer focused approach to undertaking reviews to best identify solutions to customers housing problems.
