RF Design Engineer
Location: Cowes (Portsmouth may be considered)
Hourly Rate: £60 PAYE or £81.05 Umbrella
Contract Duration: 6 months
Working Pattern: 3–4 days per week on-site
Clearance: BPSS required; SC in progress. Export control applies if offered.

Are you a senior RF Design Engineer with a passion for next-gen radar systems? We’re looking for a highly skilled contractor to join a growing team, delivering a brand-new design from the ground up – not R&D, but real-world build and development.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and verification of advanced RF hardware solutions.
Work across disciplines to bring complex electronics from concept to production.
Define and execute test plans, and oversee test equipment setup and use.
Ensure RF design meets technical and quality assurance standards.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Several years of hands-on RF engineering experience.
Strong background in electronics and PCB design.
Deep understanding of RF requirements and design principles.
Experience with RF design assurance processes and techniques.
Ability to write and implement comprehensive test plans.

Desirable:

Background in radar or defence sectors preferred.
Will also consider candidates from telecoms or related industries.

Important to Note:

Not restricted to UK Eyes Only, but export control applies.
Must be eligible to go through UK security clearance processes.
