• Job Title: Mental Health Nurse (Band 6)

• Location: Oxfordshire - HMP Forensic Inreach Team

• Duration: 3 months (with likely extension)

• Schedule: 9AM-5PM, 37.5 hours across a 7-day rota

• Start Date: ASAP

• End Date: Ongoing

• Rate of Pay:
  • £26ph (Weekdays)
  • £31.50ph (Nights/Weekends)
  • £40ph (Sundays/Bank Holidays)

Join our team as a Band 6 Mental Health Nurse and play a vital role in improving the mental wellbeing of individuals in a secure environment. In this role, you will:

• perform comprehensive patient assessments

• create and implement personalised care plans

• deliver evidence-based treatments to optimise patient outcomes

• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care

• maintain accurate patient records

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• a current and valid NMC registration and pin

• experience working in forensic, prison or secure mental health settings

• strong communication and interpersonal skills

• the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

• a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

• existing prison clearance (essential)

This role is full-time (37.5 hours/week), working 9AM-5PM across a 7-day rota. The contract is initially for 3 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
