We have an exciting opportunity within a secure prison service offering excellent pay, weekday-only hours, and the chance to make a real impact within a unique clinical environment.

• Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) - Band 6

• Location: Staffordshire

• Duration: 3-month ongoing contract

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

• Start Date: ASAP

• End Date: TBC

• Rate of Pay: £31.00 per hour (via umbrella)

Join a specialist team providing high-quality mental health care to individuals within a prison setting. In this role, you will:

• Conduct mental health assessments and risk evaluations for inmates

• Deliver structured interventions and care coordination to a defined caseload

• Administer medication and support crisis presentations

• Liaise with prison staff, psychiatrists, and external providers

• Support the delivery of ACCT reviews and multidisciplinary team meetings

• Maintain accurate records and adhere to prison protocols and clinical governance

• Valid NMC registration and active PIN

• Essential: Current prison clearance and previous prison-based experience

• Strong assessment, clinical risk management, and care planning skills

• Ability to work effectively in a secure, fast-paced setting

• Full UK driving licence required

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position, with hours of 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM. The contract is initially 3 months ongoing, with high likelihood of extension depending on service need and performance.
