Role: Sample Preparation Laboratory Assistant
Type: Temporary contract (up until Christmas)- with potential to extend depending on workload
Location: Deeside
Hours: Monday-Friday 8-4pm//08.30-16.30//9-5pm

Russell-Taylor Group have a fantastic opportunity for a Sample Preparation Laboratory Assistant to join our clients global testing company on a temporary basis. This type of role is perfect for a school/college leaver or someone that has worked in a fast-paced hospitality/retail industry.

Responsibility & requirements

Picking and shifting samples - These can be up to 25kg, so you need to be comfortable lifting and shifting this weight
Finding and delivering samples
Preparation of sample
Disposal of samples
A science background is desirable but not essential - If you do not have A level (or higher) Chemistry qualifications, experience of working in a fast paced, production environment is required
Working in a fast-paced environment- need to be able to be on your feet throughout the duration of the shift
Ideally need own transport as it can be difficult to get to site
Motivated and hard working

Excellent bit of experience to put on your CV to show you have worked in an industrial setting.
