SAP Business Analyst (Finance)

• Contract Duration: 12 months
• Location: London
• Job Type: Contract (3 days per week in the office)
• Day rate: £400-425 per day (inside IR35, via umbrella)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on a major transformation project within the finance sector. This role involves working closely with our client’s Technology Function, requiring expertise in technical change management within large transformation programmes, particularly with Data Migration, Analytics, and Reporting experiences within S/4HANA.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, particularly moving from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4 HANA Finance Module.
• Define requirements for ERP transformation to align with business benefits and assure quality delivery & testing.
• Deliver Business Analysis within large-scale technology projects, implementing changes into multiple integrated systems affecting various business stakeholders.
• Work on financial processes and SAP S/4HANA Finance module functionality, including Financial Analytics and Reporting.
• Utilise business analysis tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Jira effectively.
• Communicate complex business requirements into technical specifications to colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
• Manage stakeholders effectively and maintain progress on projects through persistent and driven actions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Significant experience in Business Analysis within large-scale technology projects.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and SAP S/4HANA Finance module functionality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
• Proficient in using business analysis tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Jira.
• Experienced in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and customer-centric focus.
• Ability to work autonomously, solution-focused, and highly collaborative.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a logistics company.
• Experience working for a consultancy.
