SAP Developer - S/4HANA Clean Core & RAP Expert

SAP Developer - Remote - New York-based Global Media Company

We are seeking an experienced SAP Developer to join our client's SAP enhancement project, focusing on SAP S/4HANA Clean Core and RAP (Restful ABAP Programming). This role is vital for improving SAP systems and ensuring future upgrades are seamless.

Contract-based, remote position with flexible hours aligned to IST time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP System Enhancements: Enhance SAP systems with Clean Core methodologies for maintainable and future-proof architecture.

• RAP Development: Develop applications using RAP to simplify development and enhance adaptability in SAP S/4HANA.

• OData, CDS Views, and Fiori: Use OData, CDS Views, and Fiori to build data services, design data structures, and user interfaces.

• Collaboration: Work with lead developers, assist with candidate interviews, and delegate tasks. Provide status updates to management, especially the VP.

• Managing Sub-contractors: Coordinate with offshore developers and subcontractors (e.g., Insight, Big 4 consulting firms).

Technical Requirements:

• Clean Core: Expertise in minimal custom code structure for smooth future upgrades.

• RAP: Proficiency in Restful ABAP programming for scalable applications.

• OData, CDS Views, and Fiori: Proficiency in OData, CDS Views, and Fiori for SAP development.

• OTC/P2P Experience: Experience in Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes is crucial for this role.
