SAP Portfolio Lead

Who are we looking for?

• A 10+ years experienced SAP Portfolio Lead.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in project/programme management and delivery is essential.
• Experience of project and finance reporting tool
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Ability to influence and drive consensus among diverse to think clearly and present ideas and plan in a concise and effective manner.
• Experience of working and leading project teams including third party vendors, Business Analysts, Test team, SMEs.
• Experience of effectively managing 3rd party vendors is essential.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is essential.

Role Description

• Improving DXC’s working relationships with IT and the Business
• SPOC for the Client into DXC for anything SAP related
• Having an overarching view of the future direction, roadmap and exploitation of SAP as the Client’s asset, to enable IT to demonstrate the value of SAP to the business
• Managing the incoming pipeline of work to enable a smooth flow of prioritised business objectives to be achieved
• Work with the Client’s stakeholders to understand and analyse business requirements turning opportunities into deliverable statements of work
• Overall management and control of SAP projects identified within the agreed SAP portfolio where responsibility for delivery is assigned to DXC
• Own all aspects of delivery, including budget, quality, customer satisfaction and solution assurance
• Ensure related resource planning, deliverables and team expectations are appropriately managed
• Work extensively with client and 3rd parties where necessary in multiple locations to ensure successful delivery.

Process Skills:

• Capable of analyzing requirements as per project defined software process.
• Develop and peer review of LLD (Initiate/ participate in peer reviews)
• Ability to execute test plans, create test cases test data and contribute for the problem solving.

Behavioral Skills:

• Resolve technical issues of projects and Explore alternate designs
• Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.
• Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction
• Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.
