Job Description - School Administrator

Job Title: Primary School Receptionist

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and organized Primary School Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, providing excellent customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and Welcoming: Warmly greet students, parents, and visitors upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Telephone Management: Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner, taking messages and handling inquiries.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Communication: Distribute information to staff, students, and parents via email, phone, and written correspondence.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, visitor logs, and other essential documents.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate appointments and meetings for staff and parents.
  • Safety and Security: Monitor access to the school premises, ensuring the safety and security of students and staff.
  • Supplies Management: Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • SIMS knowledge would be helpful

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Attributes: Friendly, approachable, and professional, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
