Key Responsibilities:

• Security:

  • Ensuring that school facilities are in good working order.

• Grounds Maintenance:
  • Maintaining the school grounds, including litter picking, waste disposal, and basic gardening.
  • Ensuring pathways and entrances are safe, especially in adverse weather conditions.
• Health and Safety:
  • Carrying out health and safety checks and reporting any hazards.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintaining records of maintenance and safety checks.
• General Duties:
  • Setting up and clearing away equipment for school events.
  • Liaising with contractors and suppliers.
  • Responding to staff requests for assistance.
  • Being a key holder and responding to emergencies (as per contract).
