Academics are currently working with this fantastic Primary school in Westminster to recruit an experienced School Caretaker to join their team from June.

This School Caretaker role is a part time, Monday to Friday role 7am to 2.30pm. The role will need a minimum commitment of June to September 2025 and the opportunity to become permanent. There will be additional overtime during the school year to support with events.

This role will include

• Ensuring the school is clean, safe. Manage waste and performing general maintenance
• Insuring the school is secure and reporting any defects
• Support and assisting with delivery of goods to the site
• Daily and Weekly checks of the school buildings and playground
• Ensure Health & Safety policies are being adhered too and complete regular checks
• Event Support - Setting up assemblies, classrooms and events as required
• Admin duties such as maintaining maintenance records & supplies

You will need;

• A good level of fitness
• Be able to work independently and handle emergencies
• Have practical DIY and basic technical skills
• To have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
