Tradewind Recruitment is looking for an experienced Caretaker to support secondary schools across Southeast London, including Bromley. This is a full-time, long-term role starting immediately, with the potential to work in a variety of school settings.

As a Caretaker, you'll play a vital role in maintaining school buildings and grounds, ensuring a safe, clean, and secure environment for students and staff. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a similar role, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.

• Opening and locking up school premises daily

• Carrying out basic maintenance and repair tasks

• Ensuring site safety and security at all times

• Overseeing cleaning standards and contractors

• Responding to urgent maintenance issues as needed

• Prior experience working as a Caretaker (essential)

• Good practical maintenance and DIY skills

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Strong understanding of site health & safety
