About the roleAs a School Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the school's facilities to a high standard. This includes general repairs, cleaning, security, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.
Key Responsibilities

• Opening the school buildings.
• Ensuring the site is clean, safe and ready for use each day.
• Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs.
• Overseeing site security, including responding to emergencies or alarms.
• Supporting with event setups or rearranging school spaces as needed.
• Monitoring stock of cleaning and maintenance supplies.

Key Requirements

• Experience in maintenance and caretaking within a school environment.
• Basic DIY skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety.
• A friendly, flexible attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
