About the Role:
Aspire People is recruiting for a reliable and dedicated School Caretaker to maintain the safety, cleanliness, and general upkeep of school premises in the Ludlow area. This vital role ensures a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.
Responsibilities:
* Daily cleaning and maintenance of school buildings and grounds
* Performing minor repairs and general upkeep tasks
* Managing access and security by locking and unlocking premises
* Assisting with event setup and ensuring facilities are ready for use
* Reporting maintenance issues and hazards promptly
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience in caretaking, facilities, or maintenance preferred
* Practical handyman skills with ability to carry out minor repairs
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to health & safety standards
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Friendly, approachable with good communication skills
