Salary: £90 - £105 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting a qualified First Aider to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Lambeth. This is a vital role within the school community, responsible for delivering first aid support to students and staff and assisting with general welfare and medical needs throughout the school day.

This full-time, term-time only position is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, well-organised, and passionate about student wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing first aid to students and staff in accordance with school policies and procedures

• Maintaining accurate records of incidents and treatments

• Managing the medical room and ensuring medical supplies are stocked and up to date

• Communicating with parents/carers regarding medical incidents or concerns

• Supporting students with ongoing medical conditions and administering medication where necessary

• Liaising with external medical services when required

Requirements:

• A valid and up-to-date First Aid qualification (e.g. Emergency First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid)

• Previous experience working with young people or within a school setting is desirable

• Excellent communication and record-keeping skills

• A calm, compassionate, and professional manner

• A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
