Job Description - School HR Assistant

Human Resources Assistants (CIPD Level 3 qualified) required in Harrow!

Tradewind are seeking highly professional, proactive, and organised HR Assistants to work as part of HR teams of secondary schools in Harrow. These are full-time roles during term time only, and successful applicants will need to be available 8am to 4pm from Monday to Friday. Initially offered on a temporary basis, there is strong potential for this role to become permanent for the right candidate.


As a HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the school's HR operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Maintaining accurate staff records and compliance documentation
  • Supporting with staff absence tracking and cover coordination
  • Assisting with HR policy implementation and general administration
  • Liaising with staff, leadership, and external agencies

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 3 (essential)
  • Strong administrative and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience in a school setting (desirable)
