A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a temporary receptionist position at a well-established school in Central London. This role offers you the chance to work in a dynamic school environment, supporting a friendly and professional team.

We are seeking an exceptional receptionist available immediately on a week-to-week basis to provide vital support to the school's front desk operations. Candidates must have experience working in a busy, fast-paced reception role and must be flexible with working hours as required by the school's schedule. A proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and an ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.

The ideal candidate will be a team player, ready to go above and beyond to ensure the smooth running of the reception area. You must be detail-oriented, demonstrate initiative, and possess the energy to manage a high volume of tasks while ensuring the needs of students, staff, and visitors are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Professionally greet visitors, staff, and students, offering a warm welcome to the school.
• Answer and manage phone calls, relay messages, screen calls, and direct them appropriately.
• Provide general administrative and clerical support to the school team, including filing and data entry.
• Maintain a clean and organised reception area and meeting rooms.
• Handle mail and deliveries, ensuring they are distributed to the appropriate individuals promptly.
• Assist with basic office management tasks as required.
• Manage and coordinate relationships with suppliers, including overseeing deliveries of office supplies, food services, and other external providers.

An up-to-date DBS Check is advantageous to apply for the role.
