Office Angels are currently recruiting for a School Receptionist to join a welcoming and dynamic educational environment in Washington. This is a temporary position with the exciting potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

?? Position Overview:

• Job Title: School Receptionist
• Contract Type: Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)
• Hourly Rate: approx. £13 per hour (negotiable depending on experience in education)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Location: Washington (free onsite parking provided)
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm (term time only)
• Breaks: 30-minute unpaid lunch

? Key Responsibilities:

• First point of contact, answering telephone, responding to queries, handling inbound calls
• Acting as the first point of contact for a busy school reception
• Signing in visitors and issuing ID badges
• Maintaining a tidy, welcoming, and professional front office environment
• Providing general administrative support to staff and students
• Managing multiple tasks while prioritising efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Displaying a confident, courteous, and professional telephone manner
• Using systems such as Microsoft Word and Excel to manage information effectively

? What We're Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an admin or office-based role
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting (preferred)
• A team player with a positive attitude and professional approach
