An 'Outstanding' Secondary School located in the Borough of Ladywood is on the hunt for x3 Academic Mentors to grow its well-recognised Science department. This school is looking for individuals who have graduated from university and looking to secure a role as a Science Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time position for the full academic year taking you up until July 2025!

Science Academic Mentor- Job description

- Science Teaching Assistant

- Working across KS3 & KS4

- Lead small intervention groups and 1:1 sessions (including GCSE and A Level)

- Assist within the classroom with general TA duties.

- Located within the borough of Ladywood

- £105 - £110 per day - Term time only

- ASAP start - Full academic year

- Full-time - 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Science Academic Mentor- Person Specification

- 1st class or 2:1 graduate in Science/Kindred Degree

- Good A Levels & GCSEs

- Confident in their Scientific knowledge

- Ability in a specialist subject to lead and support pupil's progress

- Strong communication skills to assist the class teachers with the progress of pupils.

- Work well within a wider team
