Science Biology Teacher

• Pay Rate: Main pay scale £168 - £232 per day

We are seeking a committed teacher to cover a full-time teaching role from September through to the October half term. This temporary position is ideal for someone looking to gain experience or return to the classroom for a short-term placement.

You will contribute to the dynamic science department and make a positive impact on students' academic journeys.

• Foster a positive learning environment that stimulates curiosity and enthusiasm for learning among students.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative Biology lessons that comply with the national curriculum.
• Participate in departmental meetings and school training sessions to align strategies and enhance teaching skills.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored support to ensure academic development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to share resources, ideas, and best practices.

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, BEd) in science OR Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Biology at a secondary level (KS3-KS4)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students.
