Science Teacher

Reed Education, in partnership with our Leeds-based Secondary School client, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their thriving Science Department from September 2025. About the Role: As a Science Teacher you will:

• Deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a passion for scientific discovery and critical thinking.
• Plan, prepare, and teach engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and improve student outcomes in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Participate in departmental meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
• Contribute to the wider school community and support extracurricular science-related activities

About You: To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Science or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level is desirable but not essential for exceptional candidates.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to student success.
• A proactive and flexible approach to working in a team-oriented environment.
