Science Teacher - Outstanding Secondary School - St Albans - September 2025 Start

Pay: £140 - £250 per day (dependent on experience, paid via umbrella)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, long-term (potential to become permanent)
Subject: Science (any specialism welcomed)

An "Outstanding" secondary school in St Albans is seeking a dynamic Science specialist to join its high-performing department from September.

• Daily rate £140 - £250, reflecting your qualifications and experience

• QTS (or equivalent) and recent experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 an advantage)

• Up-to-date subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, practical lessons

• Strong classroom-management skills and high expectations for pupil achievement

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
