The Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic team from September 2025. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and ideally Key Stage 5 (though not essential), with a focus on inspiring students to develop a love for science and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialism welcome).

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and interventions where needed.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities within the science department.

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management in line with school policies.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive department.

Person Specification
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

  • Degree in a relevant science subject.

  • Experience teaching science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).

  • Strong classroom management skills and high expectations of student achievement.

  • Passion for science and a commitment to innovative teaching practices.
