Job Title: Teacher of General Science - Full Time (September 2025 Start)
Location: Secondary School - Derby
Salary: £160.00 to £220.00 per day

Are you a passionate and driven Science teacher ready for a new challenge? Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a supportive and forward thinking secondary school in Derby, seeking a Teacher of General Science to join their team from September 2025 on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering a broad science curriculum in a school that values creativity, curiosity, and academic excellence.

• Full-time General Science teaching position (KS3 & KS4)

• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

• Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment

• Assessing and tracking student progress to promote achievement

• Contributing to the wider school community and extracurricular activities

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Strong subject knowledge across the science disciplines

• Experience teaching Science at secondary level

• A passion for inspiring young minds and promoting scientific inquiry

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
