Tradewind Recruitment are proudly working alongside a progressive and vibrant school in the London borough of Bexley in their hiring of a talented, temporary teacher of Science from September 2026. This is a community school which takes pride in focusing on raising the aspirations and releasing the potential of every young person in its care. In 2019, 60% of the school's students in year 11 achieved five or more GCSE 9-4 grades, including at least a 4 in English and a 4 in Mathematics. Their Progress 8 score was 0.018. At A level in 2019, 96% of the grades were A*-E with 30% at A*-B and 63% at A*-C. Similarly, high levels were achieved in Level 3 BTEC qualifications. Under the arrangements for Summer 2021 examinations, students in Years 11 and 13 continued to make very good progress. Their flourishing Sixth Form offers a wide range of courses at AS and A2 level, as well as vocational level 2 and 3 courses.

This helps demonstrates that this is a prestigious and rewarding place to teach. In return the school seek a committed and talented teacher of science to take their students through this critical time of the year until the end of the academic year.
