Hays Education are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a fantastic SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Bolton. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to teach Science at KS3 & KS4 level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of SEMH students.
• Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with support staff and other educators to provide holistic care and education.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Science specialist or comfortable delivering Science up to GCSE level
• Experience teaching in specialist settings is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of SEMH needs and strategies to support students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
