Reeson Education is thrilled to partner with a highly regarded secondary school in Leeds to recruit a passionate and dedicated Science Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young minds and join a supportive teaching team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

Role Overview: As an Science Technician, you will prepare for engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, working closely with the Science department to determine what is needed/has been planned for each lesson.

Science technician Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare classrooms for science lessons.

· Make sure all classes are adhered to the relevant health and safety procedures

· Ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of our Science laboratories.

· Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities.

What We're Looking For:

• GCSE grade C/4 and above in Science or equivalent qualification.
• Computer literate and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
• Familiar with simple Lab apparatus/chemicals.
