• support the science department
• prepare and maintain equipment:
• set up experiments and demonstrations.

• adhere to health and safety regulations in the science labs.

Pay Rate:
At Tradewind Recruitment we recognise the value of our staffs' experience and dedication and offer competitive rates of pay. This science technician position will be paid at an hourly rate of £14-£16, depending on your experience and qualifications.

The essentials:
To join us & be successful as a secondary school science technician in Southport secondary school, you will need to:

Have worked as a Science Technician or have a Chemistry background.

Have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

Have a CV which must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible

Have the legal right to work in the UK
