Employer: Hammersmith & Fulham Council (Partnering with Red Personnel)
Location: Ravenscourt Park Paddling Pool, Hammersmith, London
Contract Type: Seasonal/Temporary (23rd May – 31st August 2024)
Working Hours: Thursday to Monday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (8-hour shift with 1-hour break)
Hourly Rate: £16.51 per hour

Hammersmith & Fulham Council, in partnership with Red Personnel, is seeking a dedicated Seasonal Toilet Attendant & Paddling Pool Support to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at Ravenscourt Park Paddling Pool. This role is vital to maintaining high standards for visitors during the busy summer season.

Key Responsibilities:
Primary Duty: Ensure toilets are spotless, tidy, and in pristine condition at all times (opening, closing, and throughout the day).
Maintain cleanliness of the paddling pool area and surrounding hard surfaces (sweeping, litter-picking, etc.).
Empty bins regularly, replace liners, and conduct 30-minute checks of facilities and grounds.
Assist sports officers and security staff with:
Pool opening/closing procedures (gates, queues, exits).
Timed public entrance slots (10:00 AM, 11:45 AM, 1:30 PM, 3:15 PM).
Engage politely with visitors, answer questions, and resolve minor issues calmly.
Report incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs promptly to supervisors.
Support ad hoc tasks as directed by on-duty staff.

About You:
Reliable, proactive, and takes pride in maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards.
Physically fit (standing, bending, and lifting bins required).
Friendly, approachable, and able to interact positively with the public.
Team player who follows instructions from supervisors (sports officers, security, line managers).
Available for the full season (23rd May – 31st August) on a Thursday–Monday schedule.
