Job Title:Seasonal Street Cleansing Operative (Aldeburgh)

Location: Working in Aldeburgh / Workbase: Ufford Depot, Woodbridge Suffolk IP13 6ET

Salary: £32,637.17 per annum (equivalent to £13.91 per hour)

Job Type: Full time, Seasonal Contract up to 30 September 2025

Working Hours: 45 hours per week

Are you highly motivated with a desire to achieve high standards? If so, we currently have an opportunity to join our Waste, Recycling and Cleansing Team as a Street Cleansing Operative.

Your role:

We are looking for a good team player to cleanse areas owned or maintained by East Suffolk Services Limited on a daily basis. This seasonal role will be focused on cleansing resort beach areas in Aldeburgh.

What you will need:

You will need to be able to work alone or as part of a team, have the ability to accurately carry out verbal and written instruction and have a high standard of customer service.

A full driving licence and CAT B licence is an essential requirement of this role.

What you will need:

• Educated to A level standard (or with equivalent Level 3 qualifications)
• It is essential that you have good computer and communication skills, the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload, and to work in a systematic manner and solve problems.
• You should also be mobile with the flexibility to work across locations for which SCPHA has responsibilities - including Felixstowe and Harwich.
• Ideally, you will have previous experience of working in industries associated with food or import / export, with previous experience of office administration procedures.

Hours/days of work:

• Post 1: Saturday 5 hours, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 10 hours each
• Post 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10 hours each day and Sunday 5 hours
