Secondary Cover Supervisor

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects and year groups (Key Stages 3 and 4).

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.

• Ensure a positive and safe learning environment.

• Provide support to students where needed.

• Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.

• Maintain good order and discipline within the classroom.

Essential:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage groups of students confidently.

• Organised and reliable with a flexible approach.

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English.

• A clear and current enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Desirable:

• Previous experience working with children or young people.

• Degree or relevant qualifications.

• Interest in a teaching career or education sector.
