Secondary - Design Technology Teacher

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate, dedicated, and inspirational Teacher of Design Technology to join our clients vibrant and growing faculty for maternity cover until the end of the academic year. This role is ideal for an Art specialist, although we are open to other specialisms for the right candidate. You will be teaching across the full range of Design & Technology subjects at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

• Teach a varied curriculum including, Design & Technology, Art Craft and Design and potentially Food Preparation & Nutrition across KS3 and KS4.
• Engage and inspire students to achieve their highest potential in Design & Technology.
• Maintain a well-resourced faculty with outstanding facilities including food, textiles, and workshop learning spaces as well as multi-use classrooms.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop new curriculum materials and teaching strategies.
• Participate in and contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A strong track record of teaching Art and Design Technology, with the ability to teach across the full range of the subject at KS3 and KS4.
• Passionate about student progress and committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
