About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Accrington. This is a full-time maternity cover position, teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students. The role will commence in May 2024 and continue until January 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
• Plan, prepare, and assess students' work to ensure progress and attainment.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the school's curriculum and ethos.

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
