Job Title: English Teacher (Key Stage 3 & 4)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated English Teacher to join one of our secondary schools in Preston. This full-time position is available from after the early May bank holiday until the end of the term. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, fostering a love for literature and language.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
• Develop and implement engaging curriculum materials.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English at the secondary level, particularly Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and teaching methods.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Passion for inspiring students and promoting a love for literature and language.
