Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students at Key Stage 4 (KS4), ensuring they achieve their full potential in Food Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Food Technology to KS4 students.
• Develop and implement schemes of work in line with the Food Nutrition GCSE requirements.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing targeted support where necessary.
• Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
• Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.

Requirements:

• Must be Fully Qualified with PGCE and QTS.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at KS4.
• Familiarity with Food Nutrition GCSE requirements.
• Proven track record of student attainment at GCSE level, supported by data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
