Secondary - General Cover Teacher

This role is open to both qualified and unqualified teachers who are passionate about education and have the ability to adapt to various classroom settings. • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure that students remain on task with the work they have been set.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students.
• Provide appropriate feedback and support to students during lessons.
• Ensure a constructive environment is maintained in the classroom.
• Liaise with department heads and teaching staff to ensure consistency in the curriculum and teaching methods.
• Handle any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school's policies and procedures.

• For qualified teachers, a Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• For unqualified teachers, a degree in a relevant subject area and/or experience in teaching or related fields.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good organisational skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students.
