We are seeking a dedicated Performing Arts Teacher to join a vibrant secondary education setting in Scunthorpe. This full-time maternity cover role commences in September, offering an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture young talent in the performing arts.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring performing arts lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Foster a creative and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and performance.
• Direct and produce school performances and support students in developing their acting, dancing, and musical skills.
• Assess and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback to promote development.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate performing arts into the broader curriculum.
• Participate in departmental meetings, school training events, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational practices and methodologies in the performing arts.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
• Degree in Performing Arts, Drama, Music, Dance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in teaching performing arts in a secondary school environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Passion for the performing arts and education.
• Ability to motivate and achieve excellence in teaching and learning.
