Secondary School SEN Teaching Assistant

• Hourly Rate: £15-£17

• Job Type: Guaranteed Shifts week to week, Long Term Opportunities
• Working Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

We are currently working with a school in Stratford that is heavily engaged in community spirit and specialise in debate and music and has won an award for their excellence in pupil development and has received a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted.

The school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant who have prior experience working with SEN students. This role has guaranteed weekly shifts and long-term opportunities, ideal for those who are flexible and read to engage with students.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the delivery of tailored educational activities and support for SEN students
• Work closely with the teacher to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
• Adapt resources to meet the needs to students

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
• Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant
• Commitment to professional development and learning best practices in SEN support
